Drift is a new print magazine devoted to coffee culture. Each issue takes you to a different city across the globe, as the writers and photographers dive into what makes a city's coffee scene tick. Their inaugural issue brings them from Brooklyn to the Bronx, as they sidle up to street carts, participate in Ethiopian coffee ceremonies, learn about the legacy of the Latin lunch counter, and wink at Australian baristas serving up single-origin beans.
The photographs in the magazine are absolutely beautiful and I had the chance to physically look at Volume 1 as I visited newly opened Sweatshop Coffee Shop in Williamsburg and in the process I friended an awesome person. Meet Vanessa.
