If I’ve learned anything over the years of having taken fitness seriously is that the results you expect are way bigger and stronger when you begin placing equal focus not just on your aesthetic goals but also on the very vital aspect of sacrifice that will make the biggest difference between you and everyone else. This has without a doubt been the recurring theme, the recurring message I’ve heard from people in the industry who I’ve had the pleasure of photographing.
There’s no way around it. You’re either committed to the lifestyle change or you continue putting off something you’ve only promised to yourself in your head but can’t seem to execute in real life. Reading about what you need to do will only get you so far but surrounding yourself with people who live and breathe the culture you’ve admire from afar but hope to embrace will undoubtedly shatter any doubt you have ever had about living a healthy lifestyle.
I’ve always said that my camera has served as a license to meet people I might have never otherwise met and till this day, this continues to be true. I recently had the opportunity to finally meet Elise, who I had been communicating with on Instagram. She’s a WBFF Pro fitness model by day and Broadway dancer by night and her ability and dedication to manage both demanding professions is something to truly admire.
