A multimedia developer from Penn State wanted to create something that conveyed the basics of photography. He was looking for a way to show what happens when you change camera settings. Despite the amateurish Flash animation, I assure you it’s the information in it that holds value. The animation “simulates how you would make adjustments on a real camera while seeing what happens to the photograph if you take one using that setting.”
Having a eye for seeing things differently plays a big role in how interesting your photographs could be but understanding your camera, your photographic equipment and the various concepts that are integral to taking photographs is just as important.
