I currently use the Solmeta N2 on the D90 to geotag photographs simply because I’m the type of person that gushes over the type of details of where photos where taken. The device does exactly as advertised although I would state it’s not the most inconspicuous of accessories to have on your camera.
That’s where the blueSLR comes in. It’s the perfect companion for a Nikon and iPhone user although not just limited to the iPhone. For some reason the company site doesn’t have a video demonstrating how the device works but fortunately there’s a YouTube video that shows you what to expect from the $149 accessory. The biggest selling point for me is that unlike the Solmeta N2 or Nikon’s GP-1, blueSLR works via Bluetooth.
