The only difference from a hobby photographer and a professional photographer is that one of these people tells their friends at a party that they sometimes picks up a camera, while the other tells them they’re available for hire. A professional pushes himself as a professional, without regard to what came before.

Everett Bogue talking about that lack of confidence some of us have when it comes to presenting ourselves as someone more than just holding a camera. Unfortunately he deleted the article but I had saved it a year ago on my Kindle which is where I pull this quote from but I haven’t found a way to extract the entire article from the device. Nevertheless, I can’t think of any other article he’s written that I haven’t liked.
