In case you’re unaware of who Eric Kim is, he expresses his love towards street photography on his site with very informative articles and inspirational tips. His blog has gained much well deserved popularity that one day a project coordinator from Beirut, Lebanon reached out to him to see if he was interested in leading a street photography workshop there.
Very amazing opportunity to say the least but unfortunately he wasn’t equipped financially to make the trip abroad but through the generous donations and sponsorships of his readers, he raised $1,100 in 3 days and embarked on a trip of a lifetime.
For this holiday, he’s asking photographers from around the world to participate in the Christmas Photo Exchange. The concept is simple yet neat.
- Leave a comment with your full name, email, country and link to your photos on his site.
- He’ll randomly assign 2 photographers to one another and they’ll coordinate in sending 1 photo to each other.
- When they each receive it, they are to mount the photo they received and share a photograph of it.
