The myth that we must have time - more time - in order to create is a myth that keeps us from using the time we do have. If we are forever yearning for more, we are forever discounting what is offered.

So far the profound message I’ve gathered from Julia Cameron’s book The Right to Write is that you absolutely cannot produce any good writing that will enchant anyone if you spend more time thinking about the process rather than doing it.

So many practice things she talks about that are both straightforward and applicable to anything you have high hopes to accomplish. I haven’t finished the book in it’s entirety yet and I can assure you it’s not because I haven’t had enough “time”.

This quote reminded me a lot of something I wrote about back in November.
